At the intersection of swimwear, streetwear, and art, HAI attempts to incorporate swimwear into daily personal style. HAI’s minimalist silhouettes spotlight raw beauty, and its transitional and timeless pieces blur the line between swimwear and clothing, merging two realms of fashion and empowering modern women to experiment with their style.
HAI pieces are made in Bali out of eco-friendly Italian fabric, while the hand-painted and limited-edition pieces are handled by local creatives in LA. Incorporating the minimalism and detail of high-end, the edge and versatility of streetwear, and the beauty in art was a mission that motivated the 19-year old Brazilian Founder and creative designer, Marcelle Barbosa, from the start. Marcelle’s second swimwear brand is more than just bikinis, it’s the source of your next statement piece.
“THE PAINTED” designs are uniquely painted by Serafina Orlovas, a LA-based artist. Serafina employs non-gender-based imagery to represent people from all walks of life that highlight the natural diversity of human experience, embracing individuality and self-expression. Through her hand-painted signature faces, Serafina brings an uninhibited creativity to the crisp modern look of the unique made-to-order pieces.
